Town and
On this page we will highlight services that are available to our clients or perhaps a case that we thought was interesting and wanted to share with you.
Our cattle facilities allow us to perform cesarean sections at the clinic but sometimes the cow does not read the book. Case and point, pictured below are the "results" from a farm call to pull a
calf which ended up becoming a C-section done by Dr. Baldridge for client C. Rein of Spring Hill.

Momma all closed up.

Momma turned out in the lot, up and about right after surgery.

And her calf all dried off and put out with her looking for a meal.
Pictured
below are the extremely worn incisors of an old horse.
The teeth have been worn away creating sharp points on the tooth edges that remain. Also, the upper biting edges do not align with the lower ones.
Pictured
below is client P. Nee’s horse getting routine dental done with a Power
Float at her farm. The horse is sedated, a dental
halter is put on the horse, the head is then elevated and the speculum is
inserted in the mouth. The mouth is
opened and this allows the veterinarian to view all surfaces of the molars and
reach into the mouth to feel the teeth.
Common problems will be hooks, points and waves on the molars. These in turn can cause ulcers (sores) on the
horse’s cheeks. An annual dental exam
for your horse, and a Power Float as needed, will keep your horse comfortable and
performing in top shape.
