Dr. Thompson and Dr. Baldridge recommend annual health exams, vaccinations, dental care,
and bi-monthly deworming.  When performed on a regular basis, these simple precautions can prevent problems and keep your horse in peak shape.  Both doctors make owner education and answering your questions t
heir priority.

We provide the following services for your full size horse, draft, pony, miniature horse and mules:
  • Annual Vaccinations
  • Blood panels and coggins
  • Castrations
  • Critical care units
  • DNA testing
  • Endoscopic Exam of Upper Respiratory Tract
  • Lameness exams
  • Micro-chipping
  • Power float
  • Radiographs
  • Special diagnostics based on exam such as Insulin Resistance
  • Ultrasound
  • Well foal exams

We also provide complete reproductive work and artificial insemination services for your breeding mare and stallion.  If your breeding your mare this year call today to discuss any pre-breeding workups she might need.   Certain breed associations recommend specific testing and vaccinations for stallions before semen is shipped.  Stallion owners should research those requirements, if any, with their association and secure any permits required for shipping semen prior to the start of the 2010 breeding season.

Some folks call them Old Dobbin; we call them Pasture Puffs.  He’s that special retired horse that has earned his place in your pasture.  Thanks to modern care horses are living longer lives, and as our horses owners, we need to be aware of those needs.  If you have questions about Cushings or Insulin Resistance visit with Dr. Baldridge and Dr. Thompson about possible testing and management practices for your Pasture Puff
